The Jones CAD Agricultural Advisory Board adopted a 25 acre minimum to qualify for the exemption. This Open Meeting took place on October 13, 2021.

In an effort to keep our employees safe and healthy as well as the community, we are limiting the number of customers in our foyer to 2. We ask that if you know the amount of your tax payment, please mail it or just drop your check in the night drop on the south side of the door and request a receipt if you want one. We accept the postmark on mail payments. If you intend to pay by card, call or do it online at (325) 823-2422 or jonescad.org. If you have questions regarding your payment, call in advance so we can answer questions or solve any problems prior to your visit. If it is necessary to come into the office, we ask you to please wear a mask and practice social distancing. If you do not feel well, PLEASE STAY HOME!!!


If you are interested in serving on the Jones CAD ARB, applications are located on the ARB application tab. Before applying, make sure you are willing and able to serve from 8-5 during the week and possible weekends anytime in June and July. Training is also a requirement and provided by the Texas State Comptroller.
Applications can be emailed to jonescad@hotmail.com and will be sent to District Administrative Judge. Applicatiion deadline is February 18, 2022.

The duties of the appraisal district include:

For your convenience an after hours drop box has been installed at the south side of the entrance to the appraisal district.

Tax rates and ultimately the amount of taxes levied on property are determined by governing bodies of each of the taxing authorities.
Mineral, utility and industrial accounts are appraised for the district by Pritchard & Abbott, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas.
Real estate and personal property accounts are appraised locally by the district.
